The Divemaster rating is your first step to becoming a dive leader. Divemasters are very important members of the diving community and can be valuable assistants to instructors. As a Divemaster you will be qualified to oversee general diving activities or serve as an instructional assistant during training. The Divemaster rating is the first certification level that includes membership in The Professional Association Of Diving Instructors.

During the course you will learn:
Instructor Level Dive Knowledge
How to Organize, Conduct & Supervise Dive Groups
How to Effectively Assist An Instructor
To Sharpen Your Skills To Demonstration Quality


The course runs three weekends and includes classroom, pool and open water excersizes. This course is a bit more demanding than other classes but is more rewarding also. Course fees include all training costs, Gold Certification Card, decal, manual, work slate and air fills.

Students will need to provide their own standard diving equipment including a timing device, compass, knife and whistle. Rental equipment is available.

PREREQUISITES: 18 years old, Rescue Diver Certification and 60 Logged Dives
