Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical & research organization dedicated to the safety and health of recreational scuba divers and is associated with Duke University Medical Center. The Divers Alert Network provides divers with access to extended education in the field of dive medacine and emergency care.

Silent World Dive Center is one of the seven DAN Training Centers in the state of Florida and is the only DAN Training Center in Key Largo with instructor trainers on staff. Not only do we train Dive Emergency Specialists, at Silent World we train the instructors who train those specialists.
